Almost Everybody Leaves Without Contacting You
A shopper spends real time on one of your vehicle pages, then goes to make dinner. They were not wasting your time and they have not decided against the car — they simply left, and by the weekend they cannot remember which of four dealerships had the one they liked. Remarketing is how you are still there when they start looking again.
✓Your Google Ads account stays yours. We place the remarketing tags on your website and supply the inventory feed that lets the ads carry real vehicles, and we help where you want the help.
How The Work Runs
What you bring
Your Own Google Ads Account
The account is opened by the dealership and stays in the dealership's name, holding your budget, your billing and your campaign history. That is deliberate: it is your advertising spend, and it should not be locked inside a vendor's account where changing supplier means starting again from nothing.
What we put on the site
The Remarketing Tags
We place the tags from your account onto your website so Google can recognise the people who have been there. It is the piece that has to happen inside the site itself rather than inside the ads platform, which is why it is our half of the job and not yours.
What we feed it
Your Inventory, Not A Generic Banner
Dynamic remarketing needs a feed of what you are selling, and your inventory is already on our platform in the shape it needs to be in. We get it across, so an ad can show the actual car rather than your logo and the word "cars" — which is the entire difference between an ad somebody recognises and one they scroll past.
Who runs it after that
You Do, And We Assist
Budgets, audiences, creative and the day-to-day of the campaigns sit with the dealership or whoever already handles your advertising. We are not going to pretend to be your agency. What we will do is help — on the setup, on the feed, and on the questions where the answer lives on the website side.
What Dynamic Remarketing Actually Does
Ordinary remarketing shows an advert to people who have previously visited your website. Dynamic remarketing pairs that with a feed of what you sell, so previous visitors are shown the vehicles they were actually looking at on your site rather than a house ad. For a dealership that is the whole point: a shopper does not come back for "a used truck", they come back for the one with the tow package they spent eleven minutes on.
✓The feed comes from the same inventory that runs your site — see CarCasm® Websites. Ads bring visitors back; what they land on is covered under Website SEO Analytics.
What It Requires
Two things to be clear about
Google AdWords campaign management is the responsibility of the dealership. The dealership is also responsible for the periodic maintenance of the Google Ads account itself — billing, access and the general upkeep — although we will gladly assist.
Remarketing tags on your website are not included if you don't have a website on the CarCasm system. The tags have to go into the site, so the site has to be one we run.
What we need to start
An existing Google Ads account, or the intention to open one, and enough access to put its remarketing tags in place. Your inventory is already here, so the feed side needs nothing from you.
Already advertising on Google and not sure the tags were ever put on properly? Tell us who handles your account and we will work out what is missing.
Or email support@carcasm.com and a real person will read it.
