Your Second Rooftop Is Not A Second Bill
Most website vendors price per rooftop: open another store and the invoice goes up. We do not. Adding a location to your CarCasm® website carries no additional fee — it is part of the site you already have.
✓And a location here is a real location, not a second address typed into the footer. It keeps its own details, its own hours and its own inventory.
What Each Location Keeps
On your contact page
Its Own Address
Street address, city, state, zip and county are held per location. That last one matters more than it sounds: county is what local search and a good deal of automotive listing data key off, and a group that inherits one store's county gets the wrong answer for every other store.
On every way of reaching you
Its Own Numbers And Inboxes
Phone numbers are kept per location and per department — sales, service, parts, customer service, the office and the fax line are separate fields, not one number reused. Email addresses split by department the same way, so a service enquiry at one store does not land in another store's sales inbox.
On the hours block and the map
Open When It Is Open
Opening hours are set for every day of the week, per location, and each store carries its own Google map. A shopper who drives to a store that shut an hour ago because the site quoted the other store's Saturday hours does not usually come back.
On the inventory feed
Its Own DMS
Each location brings inventory from its own DMS — and it does not have to be the same DMS the other stores use. Groups that grew by acquisition rarely inherit matching systems, and waiting until every store is on one platform is not a website project, it is a decade.
On a vehicle detail page
Which Lot The Car Is Actually On
Inventory is attributed to the location it belongs to, so a shopper looking at a car can see which of your stores it sits on before they drive anywhere. One website, one search, and an honest answer about where the vehicle is — rather than a group site that pools everything and lets the customer find out at the gate.
One Site, Several Stores
A group site is only as good as the store details behind it. Everything else on your website reads from those details — the contact page, the hours, the maps, the phone number in the header, the location shown against a vehicle. Get them right per store and the rest follows without anybody maintaining a second copy of the truth.
✓Each location's feed is recorded run by run — see Inventory Monitor. Who at each store may edit what is covered on User Management.
What It Requires
What we need per location
The store's details as you want them published — address, numbers, email addresses and opening hours — and a feed for its inventory. If a location shares a feed with another store, that works too; the details are what make it its own place on the site.
On our side
We set the location up and connect its feed. The website you already have becomes a group site — there is no separate product to buy and nothing to rebuild.
Opening another store, or already running one your website has never really acknowledged? Let us add it properly.
Or email support@carcasm.com and a real person will read it.
